Dr. Souvik Banerjee specializes on mathematical optimization and the transfer of science to industry. After receiving his PhD in Mathematical Physics from Institute of Physics, he worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Van Swinderen Institute for Particle Physics and Gravity at the University of Groningen and Uppsala University. From 2019 to 2021 he worked as a Humboldt Fellow at the University of Würzburg. From 2021 onwards he was appointed as a Lecturer in Theoretical Physics at the University of Würzburg and filled his role until joining Koehn AI. He specializes in mathematical modelling and database development.
