Dr. David Winnekens is the Lead Consultant at Koehn AI and a specialist for time-series forecasting and supply-chain optimization. He studied physics at the University of Cambridge and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he already worked on machine learning. While working on his dissertation (link) in the field of loop quantum gravity—the interplay of quantum physics and general relativity—, he was an enthusiastic tutor and lecturer for several years.

Since joining Koehn AI in 2021, he has supported a variety of different clients in the implementation of AI and data science projects using state-of-the-art methods. As a person with a wide range of interests, he is always happy to familiarize himself with new fields of work and find the best solution in a customer-oriented manner.
