He held a senior position at a major AI consulting firm before starting Koehn AI in 2019. He is a pioneering expert for Linux server administration and cloud computing, and an expert for the major programming, scripting and database query languages.
Dr. Dennis Müller holds a PhD in theoretical physics from HU Berlin and received the prestigious Humboldt Prize for his dissertation. He specializes in data-driven modeling, optimization, and predictive analytics, with a strong foundation in mathematical and physical principles. Known for his analytical rigor and technical depth, Dennis consistently delivers robust, trustworthy solutions in complex environments. He combines both theoretical insight and hands-on experience with electronics and engineering.
Dr. David Winnekens is the Lead Consultant at Koehn AI and a specialist for time-series forecasting and supply-chain optimization. He studied physics at the University of Cambridge and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he also completed his doctorate.

Dr. Benedetta Bruno completed her PhD in physics at the Erlangen Centre for Astroparticle Physics (ECAP) for research on astrophysics using deep machine learning and high-performance computing, with her research published in prominent journals such as the Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics (JCAP). She joined Koehn AI in 2026.
Dr. Jason Bub earned his PhD in physics at Washington University in St. Louis (USA). He analyzed low-energy nuclear theories with Bayesian statistical analysis and machine learning to uncover the structure of the nuclear force. He joined Koehn AI in 2026. He is a full-stack software engineer in the guise of a physicist.
Waleed Sherif obtained his PhD dissertation in theoretical physics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. He holds over a dozen HPC certifications from national German computing centers and NVIDIA. He is the creator and lead developer of several open-source scientific computing libraries. He joined Koehn AI in 2026.
Dr. Johannes Thürigen earned his PhD in Theoretical Physics under a scholarship from the Albert Einstein Institute in Potsdam. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in quantum gravity, tensor field theory, and renormalization at the University of Münster and filled this role until he joined Koehn AI in 2025. He brings deep mathematical and technical knowledge and is adept at managing complex portfolio and scientific writing.
Dr. Andrew Wiszniewski received his doctorate for his work on biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Western Australia. Since joining Koehn AI in 2023, he worked on different forecasting and prediction portfolio as well as neural network applications for drug discovery. With his background in systems biology and bioinformatics, he is an expert for statistical methods and the processing of large datasets from scientific experiments.
Dr. Peter Bourgonje received his doctorate for research on computational linguistics from the University of Potsdam. He worked as a researcher for natural-language processing at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Berlin and for a number of companies as a machine-translation and linguistics expert. He is a guest researcher at the Discourse Research Lab of the University of Potsdam.
As Assistant to the Managing Director, Andrea keeps the company’s core administrative and operational processes running. She is the first point of contact for colleagues internally and for enquiries from outside the company. Her motto: “Strong processes are the foundation of business success.” With many years of experience in management support, Andrea streamlines internal workflows and day-to-day operations.
Dr. Jean-Luc Lehners received his doctorate for research on Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London. Jean-Luc is renowned as the author of several scientific books and has been a postdoc at Princeton University, a research group leader at the Max Planck Society and an AI consultant at Koehn AI. He supports Koehn AI in an advisory role.
